WILLIAMSBURG — After a sellout event for the first “Wicked” movie in 2024, Three Sisters, Three Cabanas, and Tiffany Haas have once again joined forces to celebrate part two of the widely successful movie.

On. Nov. 19, Movie Tavern will open its doors two days early to fans of “Wicked” for a specially-ticketed VIP event. Guests in attendance will get to enjoy “Wicked”-themed cocktails and snacks, and an appearance from Tiffany Haas, a local Broadway star.

Haas, who starred as Glinda in the Broadway version of “Wicked,” will make a special appearance at the theater and will welcome visitors to the world of Oz.

“The excitement around the film is unbelievable and it’s a testament to how affected people are by this show and the story. It’s just so incredible to sit back and think that this show doesn’t stop, it continues to grow and blossom and continues to affect people in all different ways,” Haas said prior to the premiere event in 2024.

According to IMDB, “Wicked: For Good” continues the story of Elphaba and Glinda as their friendship, and the land of Oz itself, face irreversible change. With Elphaba branded as “wicked” and Glinda rising in power, both must confront the consequences of their choices, the corruption around them, and what it truly means to do good.

Kelly Terracina, who owns Three Cabanas, saw the turnout from the 2024 event and knew she had to bring it back for the sequel in 2025.

“There’s nothing we love more than gathering our friends, customers, and community to celebrate all things love, laughter, and a little bit of magic. This private pre-release screening is our absolute favorite tradition — a chance to enjoy the movie before it officially hits theaters! We can’t wait to see familiar faces and welcome new ones as we come together for an unforgettable evening. From Glindas in pink to Elphabas in green, your creativity and spirit always make the night shine,” Terracina said.

Terracina is urging interested guests to buy tickets early, as the 2024 event sold out in just a few hours.

Doors open on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin at 6:45. Tickets are available through Eventbrite for $20. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite “Wicked”-themed outfits for the event.
