Strictly Business

What Is Strictly Business?

As the leading media company in the Historic Triangle, our commitment is to bring people together. We do this every day, online at WYDaily.com and 30offLocal.com and on-air at 92.3FM The Tide and Cannon Country 107.9FM. Strictly Business is our way of making our virtual community a literal one. We gather local newsmakers and consumers who have a common commitment to the community through a FREE networking event. Strictly Business is a bi-annual experience hosted every April and October, in partnership with CultureFix. Everyone is welcome!

What they are saying….

“Virginia Peninsula Community College is proud to partner with The Tide and WYDaily.com to promote our programs and services in the Greater Williamsburg and James City County region at Strictly Business. Through this collaboration, we are seen on their website, heard on their radio airwaves, and are in-person at events across the area. The team at The Tide and WYDaily.com are helping us execute on our mission to change lives by transforming communities with high-quality education and training.”
— Eric Pesola

“Strictly Business was an amazing opportunity for us at Williamsburg Winery to get to network with other like-minded individuals in the business community. We were honored to showcase all of the hard work that our team has been putting in to elevate the experience of our tasting room, restaurant, hotel and overall resort at Wessex Hundred. We are very thankful for the opportunity to participate in the event and would highly recommend anyone looking to host to participate and anyone looking to attend to go for it. It was well worth it for our team. Thank you again!”
— Michael Weatherly, CEO, The Williamsburg Winery

“The well-organized events are a great opportunity to meet and network with a wide variety of representatives from numerous fields, all while enjoying great food and drink supplied by local vendors. They serve as a great reminder of Williamsburg’s extensive and vibrant business community!”

“I had a fantastic time networking at this Strictly Business event. I was able to re-connect with Waypoint Seafood & Grill, Chris Souder, who would like to come back on board as one of our Community of Faith Mission, Warm Up Williamsburg Soup Sale Fundraiser soup donors. All proceeds from this fundraiser go towards sheltering the homeless in the Greater Williamsburg Area during the coldest winter months. I am so excited that I was able to speak with Chris at this Strictly Business event.”
— Victoria M. McWhorter, Director of Special Events and Hospitality, Community of Faith Mission
