Prior sales or marketing experience and familiarity with WYDaily.com, 92.3 The Tide, Cannon Country 107.9FM, and 30 Off Local are preferred. A bachelor’s degree and computer proficiency are required. This is a full-time, hybrid position with a $40,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, with total earning potential of $100,000+. Multimedia Journalist
Local Daily Media is seeking a Multimedia Journalist to join the WYDaily.com news team and cover daily news across the Historic Triangle. The reporter will deliver timely, accurate coverage of local government, public safety, schools and issues affecting residents. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, writing daily articles and features, capturing photos and video, producing digital and social content, building community relationships and meeting deadlines.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, excellent writing and communication skills, strong news judgment, AP style proficiency, digital publishing skills and strong organizational abilities. Applicants must submit three samples of published work. The position requires flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
