SEAFORD — Etta Alberta Crockett Flowers, 97, passed away peacefully Monday, June 28, 2021, at home. She was a lifelong resident of Seaford.
She retired from the U.S. Post Office after many years of service. She was a member of Seaford Baptist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Degree of Pocahontas and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Flowers; parents, Reginald and Birdia Crockett; five brothers, Ernest, Rogers, William and Ferdinand; and five sisters, Lessie, Bessie, Virginia, Bea and Emma.
She is survived by three children, David (Sharon), Sandra (Billy) and Etta (Phil); eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who she adored.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 1, at Seaford Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Howard officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Peninsula Memorial Park.
