JAMESTOWN— The VA250 Mobile Museum will stop in Jamestown this weekend as part of the Revolutionary Rhythms weekend at Jamestown Beach Event Park.

According to its website, The Virginia American Revolution 250 Commission Mobile Museum is a traveling, interactive “museum on wheels” designed to bring Virginia’s Revolutionary War history directly to communities across the Commonwealth. Housed inside a large, expandable tractor-trailer, the exhibit—titled “Out of Many, One”—features immersive displays, multimedia storytelling, and hands-on experiences that highlight the people, events, and ideas that shaped America’s founding.

Launched in 2025 as part of the lead-up to the nation’s 250th anniversary, the mobile museum visits schools, festivals, and public spaces, offering free access to an engaging, accessible look at Virginia’s central role in the American Revolution and its lasting impact on the nation.

On April 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and April 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests are invited to tour the free museum to learn more about Virginia’s role in the Revolutionary War.

The event is free and open to the public.
