Angel M. Ysla, 66, federal government financial analyst

Angel M. Ysla, 66, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

After serving in the Navy for 21 years, he worked as a financial analyst for the federal government. He was a member of the Masonic Fraternity and the Batangas Association of Tidewater.

He leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Teresita Ysla; two sons, Angel and Gerald Ysla; two sisters, Natividad Ysla and Elda Zurbito; brother, Ramon Ysla; two nieces, Riza Ysla and Richie Zurbito; and nephew, Rainier Zurbito.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, with a wake service at 6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at St. Matthew Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Angel M. Ysla. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
