From 5 – 7 p.m. on Saturday the 27th, the freshest Virginia oysters will be available for tasting, including oysters from Chessie Seafood, Chapel Creek Oyster Co., Joyner Brothers Oyster Co., Mobjack Bay Seafood Co., Tarkill Aquaculture Ventures, Windmill Point Oyster Co., and you can get a lesson on how to taste them! Don’t know how to open an oyster? Don’t worry, there’ll be shucking demonstrations and shell recycling. Other food will also be available for purchase.
Tickets are $45 per person in advance, $55 day of event, and are all-inclusive.
