Anthony Michael Boyer, a father, and cherished friend, passed away at his home in Virginia Beach, VA, on April 23, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on November 18, 1973, in Maryland, Anthony lived a life full of love, dedication, and hard work.
Throughout his career, Anthony displayed an unwavering commitment to his work. He spent many years in the food preparatory service industry, where his talents ranged from cook to manager, most recently serving at Kelly’s Tavern and Denny’s. His professional journey also included roles as a medical assistant for Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and as a receptionist for Liberty Tax. Anthony’s strong work ethic and dedication to his roles were evident to all who worked alongside him.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Anthony was a passionate movie lover and enjoyed exploring different music genres. His affection for animals was well-known, and he was a devoted companion to his beloved dog, Lucy, who preceded him in death in 2025.
Above all, Anthony was a loving and caring father, known for his deep devotion to his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Boyer and Jeannie Marie Boyer, his brothers, Edward Boyer and Jason Boyer, and his cherished dog, Lucy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Katherine Boyer, of Virginia Beach, VA, and his two loving children, Marie Boyer of Virginia Beach, VA, and Christopher Boyer of Maryland. His memory will also be cherished by many other extended family members and friends.
