Harold Joseph Soucy, 77, of Seaford, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, in the company of his loving family.

He was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Connecticut, the eldest of four siblings, to Gilbert and Elizabeth Soucy. Harold was a decorated retired U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He met and married his wife, Kan Nan, during his military service. He raised his family in Massachusetts and later retired in Seaford, where he enjoyed boating, fishing, watching sports and visits from his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Joseph Soucy (d. July 2018).

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kan Nan, as well as their three daughters, Sang Soon Castle, and her husband, Steven, Mellisa Soucy and Michelle Mauri, and her husband, Thomas; sister, Betty Ann Milbrandt; and two brothers, Gilbert Soucy, and his wife, Joan, and Sandy Soucy, and his wife, Judy. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Noah Castle, Cory Castle, Austin Mauri, Jack Mauri, Max Mauri and Dietrich Gottlieb; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A burial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
