Mrs. Pauletta Sue Robertson, 62, daughter of the late Shirley Dean-Gray and Paul Dean, born Nov. 5, 1955, in Hardinsburg, Ky., quietly departed this life Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, in Virginia Beach, Va. She had a wonderful green thumb which was illustrated in her love for planting and being outside.
She enjoyed bargain shopping with the thought of her family and friends at the forefront. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved and cared for her family, and it showed in every aspect of her life. She was super family oriented. She was our rock.
As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Thomas Robertson; four children, Colecia Beard-Mayes, Terressa Beard, George Beard Jr. and Jared Beard; siblings, Jessie Dean, Marcella Sutherland, Tericia Murphy, Geraldine Owsley, Glen Dean, Darlesta Gardner, Mack Dean, Octavia Elliott and Anthony Dean; daughter-in-law, Tameka Beard; seven grandchildren, Tiara Beard, Ciara Beard, Christopher Spencer, George R. Beard, Daren Beard, Averi Beard and Cora Beard; one great grandchild, Jeremy Ferguson; devoted nieces, Chennay Murphy and Chelsea Murphy; great-niece, Cheyenne Satterwhite; along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. A funeral service will follow visitation at the funeral home chapel.
