Eddie R. Reamer, 70, of West Point, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016.
He retired from VDOT as a New Kent supervisor. Eddie was an avid gardener who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Charlie Hudson; a sister, Thelma Gard; brothers, James Reamer (Shelby) and Ray Reamer; and a grandson, Kody Blaine.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elsie; daughters, Carmen Warthen (Steve), Nancy Wyatt (Roy), Sonya Thomas (Jason) and Heidi Ballard (Brad); sons, Michael Smith (Rhonda) and Mark Smith; sisters, Shirley Reamer, Pat White (Larry), Gennifer Mattera, Mary Crowe and Connie Raini (Johnnie); a brother, Tony Hudson (Susan); and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
