Lucille Mae Kramer, 96, a homemaker, devoted Girl Scout volunteer, and loving grandmother

Lucille Mae Kramer, age 96, of Williamsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.  Born in Sheboygan, WI, she was the daughter of the late Margaret and Wilhelm Hoffman.

Married to Roger D. Kramer in November 1945, they lived in PA, WI, IL, NJ, MA, and NC before moving to the Atlantic Shores, Virginia Beach, VA 2000.  He predeceased her in November 2000.

Lucille was a homemaker, devoted Girl Scout volunteer, and loving grandmother.  She will be remembered for her love of baking and her love for children.

She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Anderson and her husband Greger of Harpswell, Maine and Elizabeth Hall and her husband Steve of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren, Erik Anderson and his wife Dana, Stephen Anderson and his wife Brooke, Devon Azar, Kelley Parron and her husband Rich, and Karen Allen and her husband Joe; 14 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Her family wised to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the staff of Morningside of Williamsburg and Hospice Community Care for their exceptional care and attention to Lucille.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Lucille’s Life will be held at Greenleaf Memorial Park, New Bern, NC, on Saturday, January 23 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lucille’s name to Hospice Community Care, Newport News.  Donations for Hospice are being collected by Real Estate Depot, LLC at 3917 Midlands Rd., Bldg 1, Suite B, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
