Mary Lucille Cleveland Willoughby, 88, of Yorktown, went home to be with the Lord from James River Convalescent Center on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 after a long illness. Lucille was born July 14, 1927 in Scottsville, VA.
Lucille was a dedicated member of Grafton Baptist Church for close to 50 years serving as church secretary and was very involved in the children’s division. She was a shining beacon in the church much beloved by everyone she knew.
She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Willoughby her best friend and constant companion for 68 years; son Bill Willoughby and his wife, Trena; daughter Peggy Smith and grandsons Billy and Randy Willoughby.
A memorial service will be held at Grafton Baptist Church (corner of Route 17 and Dare Rd) on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2 pm. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home.
