VIRGINIA BEACH — A man was critically injured when he was hit by a truck in Virginia Beach on Monday night.
Virginia Beach Police Department officers believe the man was trying to cross the street in the 1800 block of Independence Boulevard and the 900 block of Windsor Oaks Boulevard when he was hit by a Dodge pickup truck.
The man was taken to the hospital and the driver stayed on the scene until the VBPD arrived.
Police haven’t released information about the man’s identity. The crash is under investigation.
