VIRGINIA BEACH — A Virginia Beach man is under investigation after his wife reported him to the police after she allegedly found child pornography on his computer.
The man’s wife told police that she looked through his laptop files after a “domestic situation” happened at their house. When she looked, she found several pictures and videos of her family members. The images appeared to have been taken without consent and showed the people undressing, according to documents filed in Virginia Beach Circuit court.
The woman also said that she found “a lot” of videos of people who appeared to be teenagers and younger children doing sex acts to men. The videos were kept in different folders on the laptop, court documents state.
She gave the laptop, a thumb drive and at least three hard drives to the police. In a search warrant filed on Aug. 8, police sought permission to search through the electronics for evidence like pictures and videos of child pornography.
