VIRGINIA BEACH — A Norfolk man is accused of selling heroin in Virginia Beach, police say.
Brett Miller is charged with selling or distributing heroin. He is currently in jail, and is scheduled to appear in Virginia Beach General District Court on Aug. 10.
Police reported that they saw Miller selling heroin to a woman driving a car outside of a motel on Northampton Boulevard in April. The woman was stopped by police and she confirmed that she had purchased heroin from Miller, documents filed in Virginia Beach Circuit Court.
Police believe Miller’s phone contains evidence related to an illegal narcotics operation, documents state.
Miller’s cell phone is being held by police as evidence.
