
Get a look at graduate research from all over the commonwealth at an upcoming conference at the College of William & Mary.
The 13th annual Graduate Research Symposium will be held March 21 and 22 at the Sadler Center on the College’s campus. The broadly themed academic forum is designed to bring together graduate students in differing areas of study in the arts and sciences.
Graduate students from W&M will present their work, alongside students from visiting institutions including American University, George Mason, James Madison University, Marymount University, Old Dominion University, Vanderbilt University and Virginia Tech. Seventeen schools are visiting in total, from Virginia and neighboring areas.
There will be a total of 170 lectures and presentations over the two days, in fields of study range from physics to American Studies. Each of W&M’s 11 graduate departments and programs will be represented.
This symposium is hosted by William & Mary’s Graduate Student Association of Arts & Sciences and the Arts & Sciences Office of Graduate Studies and Research.
Presentations begin at 8:30 a.m. March 21 and run through lunch March 22. See the full schedule here.
