YORK COUNTY — Becky Mosbrucker believes in making connections with those near and far, especially with like-minded women. Her desire to make those connections led her to start the female network group Stronger Together Tribe.
As an author, podcaster, women’s empowerment/awareness coach and founder of Forward Safety Training, Mosbrucker feels that support and camaraderie from other women play a key role in her success.
Mosbrucker participated in our Ten Questions series in May 2023.
Building a community through the Stronger Together Tribe, Mosbrucker’s goal for the group is to bring women together for business and friendship to create a supportive and inclusive environment where members can learn, grow, and connect with each other.
“It started as a podcast called the Strong Together Tribe — originally it was a business networking group and it has morphed into just an overall women’s group,” explained Mosbrucker. “The reason I did it was I wanted women-owned businesses that would help other women by going online and speaking about their journey.”
The podcast now has over 99 featured guests, said Mosbrucker. “I’ve had people from candy makers to house cleaners to real estate agents and psychologists. All walks of life. There are so many companies and services out there for women that I did not know existed!”
That podcast has now spun off to include a local women’s community that meets up monthly for networking opportunities, said Mosbrucker.
“I heard this type of group was needed in our community so, I created a fix,” she said.
Currently, the Stronger Together Tribe networking group resides on Facebook, and any female who is interested can reach out to join. Mosbrucker vets the private member group, who have access to the community, information on future meet-ups, discounted courses and planned retreats. Mosbrucker also offers a VIP paid subscription.
“We help each other and give back to the community as well. In our monthly meetings, we discuss topics that help us as a business and on a personal level. We try to reach everyone so, it is not just for business people, she said.
Mosbrucker sees plenty more opportunities to grow the community, including partnerships and events with local nonprofits.
