YORKTOWN — Yorktown’s 2025 Sounds of Summer concert series kicks off Thursday, May 22, at Riverwalk Landing.
The free, Thursday-night concerts take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. through Aug. 14, with no concert scheduled for July 3.
The series opens with BrassWind as part of the 20th Anniversary of Riverwalk Landing, followed by a lineup featuring rock-n-roll, R&B, pop, beach and country music:

- June 5 — The Tiki Bar Band
- June 12 — En’Novation
- June 19 — The Main Event Band
- June 26 — The Gentlemen & Their Lady
- July 10 — The Embers
- July 17 — The Nashville Nights Band
- July 24 — Tidewater Drive Band
- July 31 — Bon Journey
- Aug. 7 — Slapnation
- Aug. 14 — The Deloreans
Attendees are encouraged to arrive before the concerts begin and enjoy dinner or dessert at any of Historic Yorktown’s waterfront restaurants.
The Sounds of Summer concert series includes a dance floor, corn hole and food trucks. Guests are permitted to bring their own blankets, chairs and small coolers. No tables, umbrellas or tents are permitted. Concertgoers may bring their own alcohol, but it must be consumed in the designated ABC area.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building and other designated public parking lots. The complimentary, wheelchair-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs until 9:30 p.m. for every concert with a modified route that includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town, according to York County Public Affairs.
