Chamber Insights: September 2022

This August, the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce presented a variety of programming to support its members and the local business community, including a Job Fair at William & Mary and the inaugural Business Leaders Community Breakfast, hosted at Colonial Heritage.

The Business Leaders Community Breakfast featured an insightful conversation between the Honorable Glenn Youngkin, 74th Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and Cliff Fleet, President and CEO of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.

Up next, the Chamber is proud to present its annual Night of Oktoberfest at Busch Gardens Williamsburg from 6 PM to 9 PM on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022. Purchase tickets for a fun evening of networking, food, drinks, rides, games, prizes, a live DJ, and photo ops with strolling Howl-O-Scream characters. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Applications are officially open for the 2022 Christmas Parade, which will take place on Sunday, December 4th at 5 PM. This year’s theme, Merry & Bright, evokes the merriment of the season and the hope that it stirs in our community. Parade participants are therefore encouraged to create floats inspired by this theme. Float or walking unit applications can be submitted online.
