Gloucester County’s EDA notes that the locality is unique in that its restaurants not only serve Gloucester residents, but also those living in neighboring localities around the Middle Peninsula. The department estimates that there are more than 80,000 customers supporting the local economy.

“We have great restaurants in Gloucester and each offer great dining experiences,” said Sherry Spring, director of economic development.

“On behalf of the Board of Supervisors and the EDA, we welcome these new restaurants to Gloucester and wish them many years of success,” added Stephen Barrs, chairman of Gloucester’s Economic Development Authority.
