NORFOLK–A man died Wednesday night after suffering a serious gunshot wound at Walker Avenue.
According to police, officers and emergency units responded to reports that a person had been shot at the 500th block of Walker Avenue around 8:30 p.m. First responders found Larry B. Williams Jr., 24, suffering from serious injuries.
He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
A motive or suspect information has not yet been released by the Norfolk Police Department, but they are calling it a murder, which marks the 15th of the year.
William’s death also marks the fourth shooting death in the city since Sunday, along with Na’teria Powell, 18, and Richard Eyerman, 23, who were both killed Sunday, and Pedro Cain, 24, who was killed on Tuesday.
