Cape Henry junior wrestler Jordan Scott was honored as a 2016 High School Academic All-American by the National High School Coaches Association.
This year’s selections included 138 student-athletes from 30 states. Virginia led with 20 honorees.
All of the recipients will be recognized in the National High School Sports Hall of Fame Museum, according to the NHSCA.
Scott has a GPA of 3.98 and is a team captain for the Dolphins. He finished 8th in the VISAA state wrestling tournament this past winter.
