WILLIAMSBURG — Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW) has announced the return of its popular annual event, Kids Weekends.
Each weekend (through April 24) will have a different theme with activities geared towards engaging the park’s younger guests. Activities will primarily take place in the park’s Sesame Street Forest of Fun section, but will also include BGW’s show, “Let’s Play Together,” in the Globe Theater. Additionally, guests can enjoy the park’s fifteen family-friendly rides and shows.
The themed weekends will include:
- Everyday Heroes (April 8-10): Highlighting Super Grover, this weekend will be hero-themed with a special scavenger hunt and engage with the blue superhero monster during the Furry Friends Dance Party.
- Easter Weekend (15-17): Kids will have the opportunity to participate in dance parties, create Easter-themed arts and crafts, and have story time with Elmo and Cookie Monster.
- Furry Friendship Weekend (April 22-24): This last weekend of the event celebrates friendship. Led by Abby, Rosita, and Zoe, the trio will lead the Furry Friends Dance Party throughout the weekend.
Children ages 3-5 years old are eligible for the park’s Preschool Pass, which grants the holder complimentary admission to BGW and Water Country USA through October 31, 2022. These are available at the park or online until May 31, 2022. For more information, please click here.
