TOANO — The Toano Open Air Market has announced that its first market in 2022 will take place on March 5.
The Market, which was founded by Maureen Anderson in 2020, boasts a variety of products from local farmers, artists, and artisans.
On opening day, residents can expect live music from local band, Joe’s Day Off, as well as pony rides and a petting zoo.
In addition to having an emphasis on shopping safely during the pandemic, Toano Open Air Market encourages residents to pre-order what they would like to purchase. On its Facebook page, its stated that this is to make sure that the Market has what the consumers need.

The markets take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toano Station Green, 7891 Richmond Rd.
