HISTORIC TRIANGLE — Entering 2022, holiday decorations are starting to be stowed away and focus turns from the merriment of December to goals for the new year. For the final edition of WYDaily Holiday Favorites, our newsroom staff takes a look at what their goals are for this coming year.
This week’s topic? New Year’s Resolutions!
Nancy Sheppard, Managing Editor:
“My New Year’s Resolution (aside from the ubiquitous ‘find a way to slow down’ and ‘stress less’) would be to travel somewhere I’ve never been before. I love exploring new places, learning the history of that place, and trying the local cuisine. So, here’s to hopefully packing my suitcase for an adventure in 2022!”
Ben Mackin, Senior Multimedia Journalist:
“As schmaltzy as it seems my resolution every year is to be a better person than I was the previous year.”
Molly Feser, Multimedia Journalist:
“My New Year’s resolution this year is to drink more water. I like coffee a little too much, and sometimes I realize I have gone a whole day without drinking water. 2022 is about staying hydrated!”
Dominic Catacora, Multimedia Journalist:
“One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be more healthy in 2022. I’m going to start running again and also I’ll be eating more healthy food.”
