WILLIAMSBURG — For those wanting welcome the new year with some music and dancing, CultureFix has you covered with a free New Year’s Eve party.

The event will take place at the Lawn at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, 301 Nassau St., from 9 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. on Dec. 31.

The Revelation Band will provide music to groove to throughout the night. At midnight, watch the ball drop in New York City’s Times Square on the big screen set up on the stage. There will also be jugglers and magicians on hand to entertain the crowd.

Food, beer and wine from Precarious Beer Project will be available for purchase.

This free-admission event will take place regardless of weather thanks to the massive tent that will be set up on the lawn.

For those looking for something to do earlier in the evening, local blues legend Bobby BlackHat is hosting the New Year’s Eve Blues Spectacular from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., under the same tent as the CultureFix event.

The Blues Spectacular will feature BlackHat and special guests Jackie Scott and Memphis Gold as they send 2021 packing with some rhythm and soul. Tickets for the Spectacular are available for purchase here.
