Robert M. Throckmorton, 90, of New Kent, VA passed away July 4, 2026.
One of God’s most decent and moral men leaves behind his wife, Rosa (married 7/23/54); his children, Bob Throckmorton (Patti), David Throckmorton (Debbie), Gail Faucett (Jim); and many grandsons, great grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
Robert worked for 40 years at Vepco, was active in Corinth United Methodist Church in Sandston – holding many positions over the years and teaching Sunday School for over 30 years. A three-sport letterman/captain in high school and an avid golfer for over 50 years.
A funeral service will be held 1:30 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge VA 23140. The family will receive friends half an hour prior to services. Interment will be private.
