With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gloria Batkins, a beloved wife, mother, and friend whose love and spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Gloria was the devoted wife of Terry Batkins. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, travel, and countless memories, always standing beside one another as partners, best friends, and each other’s greatest source of strength.
She was a proud and loving mother to her sons, Christopher and Alan, and the heart of her family. She expressed her love through home-cooked meals, thoughtful gestures, and the countless ways she brought people together.
Gloria had a passion for travel and embraced every opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories. She loved discovering great food wherever her travels took her, but those who knew her often joked that she never met a dish she couldn’t make better in her own kitchen. Known for her knack with numbers, she enjoyed playing the lottery and the excitement of a casino visit, always appreciating the thrill of possibility and good fortune.
Above all, Gloria will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the love she shared so freely with family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Gloria leaves behind her devoted husband, Terry Batkins; her loving sons, Christopher and Alan; her stepsons, Jody and Jason; and her eight cherished grandchildren, along with many family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
