Jeffrey Michael Brown, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 21, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on August 27, 1969, Jeffrey lived a life marked by curiosity, independence, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys around him.
Jeffrey was a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle who will be remembered for his unique spirit and the warmth he shared with those closest to him. He had a deep love for dogs and found great happiness in their companionship. Known for his keen eye and adventurous nature, Jeffrey was always on the hunt for a “good find,” embracing life as an avid treasure hunter. He firmly believed that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, a philosophy that reflected both his outlook on life and his ability to find value where others might not.
Jeffrey dedicated many years of his life to working as a roofer in commercial construction, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and hands-on approach to life. After years of hard work, he retired from the trade, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and perseverance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine and Richard Brown, whose memories he carried with him always.
Jeffrey is survived by his two children, his loving sister, his niece, Alexandria C. Lynch, and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and the moments they shared with him.
