Reynaldo DelRosario Javier, a beloved husband, father, and retired serviceman, passed away on August 20, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 79. Born on January 24, 1946, in the Philippines, Reynaldo dedicated his life to service both to his country and his family.
He proudly served in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of E-6 before his retirement. His commitment to duty and honor was a guiding force throughout his career and was greatly admired by those who served with him.
Reynaldo was a dedicated member of the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, where he was a valued part of the congregation. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him comfort and guidance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo Javier and Josefa DelRosario. Reynaldo leaves behind his loving wife, Julieta Palafox Javier, and his son, Richard Javier, who cherish his memory and the legacy of love and integrity he imparted.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Homes – Maestas Chapel, located at 1801 Baltic Ave, Virginia Beach. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Star of the Sea Catholic Church, situated at 1404 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach.
