Earl Herndon, Jr. of Richmond, VA went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 14, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father Earl L. Herndon, Sr. and his mother Marion P. Herndon. Earl is survived by his wife Joylee Herndon, daughter Mariah Spracklin (Chris), their children Mackenzie and CJ, sister Donna Turner (Amador Sanchez), his nieces, Katina Blackstone (Chip), and Ronica McLarn (Ronnie). He had a lot of great nieces and a great nephew as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
Earl was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005. He achieved many 300 games, took a lot of younger players under his wing and loved to share his love of bowling with others.
He worked for Winns Moving and Storage for 24 years. After his devoted years to Winns, he took the leap and retired.
He had a big heart and helped so many people throughout his life, he loved his family and his grandchildren. His biggest love of all was his wife, they were high school sweethearts and have been married for 41 years.
A celebration of Earl’s life will be held 2 PM, Thursday, March 27 at Mizpah Christian Church, 5257 Old Columbia Road, Goochland, VA 23063.
