Jean Parisi Hand, born on September 23, 1941, in Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, in Virginia at the age of 83. She was a devoted mother, cherished friend, and a beloved member of her community.

Jean dedicated a significant portion of her career to serving as a Customer Service Representative for Pitney Bowes, where she was known for her commitment and professionalism. Her work ethic and dedication were admired by colleagues and clients alike.

Throughout her life, Jean embraced a spirit of adventure and learning. She pursued various courses through community college, exploring a wide array of interests with enthusiasm and curiosity. Alongside her late husband, William J. Hand, to whom she was married for 20 years, Jean obtained her Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Together, they traveled countless miles, creating memories and experiencing the joys of the open road.

A woman of faith, Jean was actively involved in the Christian community and contributed her time and energy to the Christian Broadcast Network. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, providing strength and comfort to those around her.

Jean is survived by her son, Scott L. Hand, of Virginia Beach, who carries forward her legacy of kindness and compassion. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s honor can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others and making a difference in the lives of those in need.
