Kevin Scott Gardner passed peacefully in his sleep on May 13, 2024. He was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on August 6, 1964. He was 59 years old. Kevin attended First Colonial High School.
Kevin was a master carpenter and enjoyed working alongside his father building and restoring homes. He was known for his exceptional craftsmanship.
His greatest accomplishment was being a father to his beloved son, Cole, a role he cherished above all.
Kevin’s quick wit and boundless humor made him a delight to be around, earning him a reputation as the funniest man many had ever met. His enthusiasm for life, combined with his natural charisma and charm, made him a treasured friend and confidant to many.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy T. Gardner.
Kevin is survived by his son, Kevin Cole Gardner, and his mother Amy Simpson. His Father, Jerry D. Gardner, sisters, Desiree (Jeff) Charlton, Tempi (Mark) Bissette, and his brother Jerry D. Gardner II (Bonney). Kevin leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22nd at Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Avenue, Va. Beach, VA 23451.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
