Hazel Croley, 76, of Virginia Beach, was called home Friday, September 22, 2023.
Hazel is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bill Croley; her children, Brenda (Kurt) Brocki;,Bobbie Kahl, and Thomas Croley, all of Virginia Beach; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nathan Kahl of Surry, Elizabeth Kahl and Maxine Zanoni of Virginia Beach, Krystal (Chris) Greenfield of Virginia Beach, Carson and Christopher Greenfield of Virginia Beach, Terri (Eric) Larsson and Owen Larsson of Virginia Beach; her brother, Keith (Donna) Durst of New Franklin, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Hazel was a 1966 graduate of Manchester High School in Manchester, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart following graduation. The couple moved to California and started their family. They settled in Leon, West Virginia, eventually moving to Virginia Beach in 1985.
Hazel was employed at Woolworth from 1986 – 1992. Her passion was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Southside Chapel, 5033 Rouse Dr., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please make a memorial donation to the National Scleroderma Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
