John Russell Whipple, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022. A Peninsula native, John relocated to attend college before returning to Virginia. He worked as a display tech for multiple department stores in Washington, D.C. John was a faithful Lutheran.
John was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister. He is survived by his brother, Dan Whipple of Hampton and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Peninsula Memorial Park. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
