Amy Nicole Jones, 44, passed away on June 16, 2022 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Amy was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia to Debra Preas Jones and Arthur Wilson Jones. She was later employed as an Administrative Assistant at Riverside Home Healthcare in Newport News.
She is survived by her parents, Debra Preas Jones and Arthur Wilson Jones; her partner, Donny Light; her children, Breanna Nicole Collier, Austen Dale Collier, and Emma Gail Light; her sisters, Karri Elizabeth Lockwood and Heather Lee Jones; and her beloved cats, Rainbow and Ruby, who were always by her side.
Amy loved shopping and was full of life. She had a radiant aura that often brought a smile to everyone’s face.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Weymouth Funeral Home with Visitation beginning at 10:00 am. A Graveside Service will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
