NEWPORT NEWS — Aaron E. Wilkerson, 47, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021. He was the son of Alice Harrod Wilkerson and the late Earnest H. Wilkerson.
Aaron was a 1991 graduate of Denbigh High School and attended Norfolk State University. He enjoyed playing many sports; however, baseball, bowling, and tennis were his favorites.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Natisha Thomas and Symaya Wilkerson; grandchildren, Naseer, Ny’Aira, and Leighlani; brothers, Earnest Jr. (Tesila) and Kirk Wilkerson. Additional survivors include a bonus daughter, Denajah; and bonus granddaughter, A’Lyvia.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 1, at Whiting’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 2, at the funeral home.
