NEWPORT NEWS — Jessica Anne DeGroat, 33, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020.
She was cashier locally for many years, most recently for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kevin DeGroat.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Andre Clayton; mother, Kimberland DeGroat; siblings, Jennie Gaines, James DeGroat and Jarrett Degroat, and their families; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Ave., Newport News.
