VIRGINIA BEACH — James Franklin “Angel” Wilhoite II, 25, left earth for heaven Monday, June 8, 2020. He was loved by many, and he loved them right back. He was always willing to lend a hand, be a listening ear and give advice whenever needed. As a transgender, he fought hard for LGBTQ rights.
He leaves behind mother, Mary Hart; father, James Franklin Wilhoite; stepfather, Santiago Gomez Cardona; aunt, Jessica Carmen Hart; uncle, Manuel Robert Hart; aunt, Karen James Hart; half-brothers and half-sisters, Kenneth Hart, Robert Kirkpatrick, Preston Kirkpatrick, Skylar Wilhoite, Kayla Wilhoite, Jade Wilhoite and Linleigh Wilhoite.
Angel was studying to become a nurse. This was a passion obtained after watching his Abuela/Grandma suffer years of battling cancer. He will be met in heaven by his two grandmothers, one grandfather, one uncle and other distant relatives.
Angel would listen to a variety of music and dress up as a beautiful Diva daily. She would want everyone to be their best and most beautiful self. Love, laugh, play and use music as your therapy.
