Roger Anthony Villecco, 77, intriguing storyteller who mastered the art of conversation

Roger Anthony Villecco, 77, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020.

Roger was a Vietnam veteran and served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Intelligence investigation officer and a Propulsion Engineering School instructor. He was a mathematical physicist with former affiliations with academia, California Institute of Technology, U.C. Long Beach, MIT, University of Tennessee; industry, SAIC, CSA, Teledyne-Brown, Sanders, DMJM; and government, Atomic Energy Commission, DOE, Navy, Air Force, DOD. Roger was also a published author in his field of study.

Roger loved long conversations with his family and friends, playing with his kitties, and researching and writing. He had a beautiful sense of humor and was a great story teller.

Roger is survived by his wife, Judy Diana Villecco; son, Joshua; and many nieces and nephews.
