Robert Donald Weaver, 91, Air Force veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars

Robert Donald Weaver, 91, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2019. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, he had been a resident of Hampton for over 52 years.

He retired as a master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in 1968, after 21 years, which included service during the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Following retirement, he worked for various companies doing computer and technology repairs. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of their children, Elfriede Weaver; second wife and life traveling partner, Terri C. Weaver; daughter, Christine; son, Michael; granddaughter, Rita Weaver; brother, James; and sisters, Rita and Joyce.

He is survived by his son, David Weaver; Michael’s fiancé, Robin Goodwin; daughters, Rosemarie Majeski (Gary) and Maya Detmold; grandchildren, Zoe, Jessica, Joshua, Tyler, Blake, Devin, Brian, John and Joey; and great-grandchildren, Lorelai and Everleigh.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated by Pastor John Grace at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Drive, Hampton.

The family wishes expressions of sympathy to take the form of contributions to ICCC Food Pantry.
