Horace Fauntleroy Sr., devoted, beloved father and grandfather, departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019. A native of Hampton, he was the son of the late William and May Fauntleroy.
He retired from the Newport News Public Schools after 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Marie Tillery Fauntleroy.
He is survived by his daughters, Toni Fauntleroy, Monique Fauntleroy, Brenda Fauntleroy and Judy Fauntleroy; sons, Guy Fauntleroy and Horace Fauntleroy Jr. He will also be missed by several devoted grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nephew, Herbert Washington, and his wife, Denise Washington.
Horace Fauntleroy Sr.’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8, at Bethel Temple, Hampton.
