Corrie Stulen, 88, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Williamsburg Hospice House surrounded by her children.
She was born June 15, 1929, in Central Java, Indonesia. She immigrated to the United States in 1960 and became a U.S. citizen.
After settling in Williamsburg, she enjoyed a very long and rewarding career as a seamstress for Colonial Williamsburg, working there for 25 years.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Stulen and Ronald Stulen; grandchildren, Landon, Carter and Hayden; and daughter-in-law, Alana.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 15, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1677 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Williamsburg Hospice House, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
