Dale Nelson Williams, 74, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017.
A Norfolk native, Mr. Williams was a founding member of Kappa Alpha Chapter and graduate of Old Dominion University. He was a member of the Dive & Rescue Team in Okinawa, Japan, served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force and was a self-employed insurance appraiser.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Pamela Wilhite Williams; daughter, Kimberly Morgan, and her significant other, Ben Kemper; three grandchildren, Amy and Hunter Waterfield and Derek Morgan Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
