Thomas ‘Tom” Orem, 82, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016. Thomas was a native of Baltimore, Md., and a former resident of New Freedom, Pa., before moving to the Peninsula in October 2014.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Walda Joan; as well as two sisters, Jean Lanham and Harriet Louise Denny.
Tom is survived by a brother, John Orem (Vernetta); two sons, Thomas Orem and Gary Orem; daughter, Lori Chapman (Steve); daughter-in-law, Maria Orem; six grandchildren, Christina DeChellis (Bobby), Diana Orem, Theresa Orem, Christopher Shaw (Rachel), Patrick Shaw (Traci) and Andrew Martinez; and seven dearly loved great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 5, at the chapel of Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
