Nancy Marie Lucks, 78, a woman who loved life fully and lived it well, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was in her art studio surrounded by what brought her joy when she went to be with the Lord. Nancy was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Hartl William and Helen Anna Marie Kinzelman Lucks. She was an artist who loved painting and sculpting. Her love of nature was reflected in her art.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving sister, Joan Guidry and Rick of Virginia Beach; nieces Lisa Zader (Gus) of Virginia Beach and Tina Hooper (Jason) of Birmingham, Ala.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Christina, Issac, Jackie, Julia, Joshua, Caleb, Samuel and Emma Grace; Eddie Montgomery, who was like a son; Jane Webb, who was like a sister; close friend, Mildred Marshall; Alan ‘Rick’ Rickman and her other art students; lifelong buddies; and a host of other family and friends. She was a loyal friend who loved deeply, and she will be greatly missed.
The family will be celebrating Nancy’s life at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel.
