Lucette Andre Schaefer, 87, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born in Vosne-Romanée, France, to the late Léon and Jeanne Gaillard.
During her life, Lucette was a U.S. Navy wife and homemaker. She worked in a florist’s shop and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Unit 20, Virginia Beach.
Left to cherish Lucette’s memory are her nieces, Joanne Fantazier, and her husband, John, and Donna McGillivary; and nephew, Robert McGillivary, and his wife, Maryann, and their families.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will immediately follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park.
