
Virginia Carol Feigh, of Yorktown, died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, due to complications of pneumonia. She was 93.
Mrs. Feigh, born in Lima, Ohio, was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clifford Eugene “Gene” Feigh, who passed away on April 9, 1990. She was the second daughter of Merlin and Anna Irene Daye Kennedy, of Lima, Ohio and the younger sister of Ruth Irene Kennedy, of Dayton, Ohio, all of whom preceded Virginia in death.
Mrs. Feigh was a loving mother to her three surviving sons and their families: Gregory Eugene Feigh (Carolyn), of Houston; Keith Allen Feigh (Kathleen), of Poquoson and Mark David Feigh, of West Columbia, South Carolina. She also left behind six grandchildren, Karen Feigh (Brian German), Steven Feigh (Kelsi), Scott Feigh, Grace Feigh, Lacy Feigh and Adam Feigh (Rebekah) and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Feigh was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Tabb.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 4109 Big Bethel Road, Yorktown, officiated by Father John Lynch. Interment will be at the family gravesite at Memorial Cemetery in Lima, Ohio at a later date.
Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, the family recommends contributions be made in Virginia’s name to the American Cancer Society or to the Poquoson Lions Club, 10 Willis Ct., Poquoson, VA 23662.
Mrs. Feigh was a 30-year cancer survivor and a devoted supporter of the Poquoson Lions.
