Zane Paul Wells, of Yorktown, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at the age of 26.
Zane was a native and lifelong Peninsula resident and graduated from Grafton High School. He attended World Outreach Center, Newport News and was employed by Bud’s Heating and Air Condition. Zane was well-traveled.
He is survived by his parents, Steven C. Wells and Angela Collins and her husband John; a brother, Elijah Knight; grandmothers, Joyce Parsons and Wilma Wells; and many nieces and nephews. He was loved by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Amory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.R. Gurley officiating. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
